Hi, good morning.
I woke up at 5 and iam wrtting my blog right now. I don't feel like getting out of the bed sice my room is way too cold.....
さて昨日英会話のレッスンでNetflixの話題になり、その時フレーズ"equal to -" を紹介します。
例:
A:最近ネットフリックにはなってるんだ。やってみれば。
Im into netflix lately. There are buncho of movies and TV shows. You should try it.
B:でも高いんでしょ。
Well. Is it expensive?
A:そんなことないよ。
月800円で、ビッグマックセットと同じだよ。
Its very resonable. It is just 800 yen per month.
That's roughly equal to 1 time the cost of a Big Mac set value meal.
今日の一言: "drama queen "大げさな人
すっかり更新が。。。。
今日は先日海外ドラマうをみていたら、耳に入ってきた表現です。
"Drama queen" を辞書でみてみると。。
someone who gets too upset or angry over small problems:
うん。なるべく言われないようににしたいですね。。。では例文
A :What do you think of inviting Risa to the party?
リサ誘う？
B: Well... I don't think its a good idea. She is such a drama queen.
彼女は大げさだから。。。
A: She is not like that. She is more of the life of the party. I bet It's gonna be fun if she comes.

彼女がくるときっと楽しくなるよ。

今日の一言: "go with the flow"まあ流れでいこう
この前友人とお茶をしてた時に、このあとどうすると言ったら、we will just go with the flow.
といっていました。まー適当にいこうよ見たいな感じですね。
なので今日はgo with the flow を使う練習をします。
例:みんなで決めてよ。自分はしたがうから。
You guys can decide. I will just go with the flow.
I'm good with anything.
例:この後どこに行く？
適当に行って、良いお店があれば入ろう。
Where are we going? Any ideas?
Let’s go with the flow and go into the shop if we find a good one.
例:とりあえず様子見でいこうかな。

考え過ぎずに時には流れにみをまかせようかなと。
I try not to overthink and go with the flow sometimes.

なんか最近英語学習のモチベーションが足りなく。。。。でも2019年もはじまったことなので。少し頑張りたいなと。

今日は面白い表現を紹介します。よく日本語でも右から左へと表現しますよね。
all in one ear and out the otherを調べると→l if information goes in one ear and out the other, you forget it as soon as you have heardit
というわけで例文。
Ex1
A:You've taken so many notes.
メモすごいね
B:I just don't have a good memory, so I have to write everything down.
Otherwise, it's all in one ear and out the other.
記憶力ないから、すべて書き留めているんだ。さもないと。すぐに忘れるから。
Ex2
A:Have you takled to her?
(彼女に話した？）
B:It’s no use talking to her because it goes in one ear and out the other.
（話しても無駄よ。なにも聞いてないんだから。)
That's all today...It goes in one ear and the otherはイメージがつきやすいですね！
今日の一言 "時間どうりにきたことがない"
今日も満員電車に揺れれて、ようやく近くの喫茶店に到着。さてこれから仕事の準備をしなくては。
I got through the packed trains and tomanager arrive at at a cafe near the office. Im going to get to work now.
Today's phrases are
"it never runs on time."
電車やバスがいつも遅れる場合に使ってみてください
and "He's never on time/ He's always late"
会社のいつも同僚遅れてくる場合に使ってみてください。
例1:
Ａ:もうバスきたの？
Has the bus come yet?
B:ずっとバス待ってるんだけど。。。 時間どうりにきたことがないよ
Ive been waitting for ages. it never runs on time.
例2:
A:彼きっと遅れてくるよ。時間どうりにきたことがないんだ。
He is probably going to show up late. He's never on time.
今日の一言： 「面倒くさい」→”It's such a hassle"
来月携帯電話を変える予定です。
I'm finally getting my new smart phone next month.
今使っているスマートフォンは古いので、すぐにフリーズしたり、ストレスがたまります。
My phone is quite outdated. so it's going slow and freezing often.
It's frastrating(annoying)!!!
でも、携帯の契約を変えるのって待ち時間も長いし、めんどうですよね。。。。
ということで、そんなときに一言。
面倒くさいと言いたいとき”It's such a hassle".
例：
A:携帯変えるのめんどくさいよね
Getting a new phone is such a hassle, isn't it?
B:わかるよ。この前変えたときは、一時間待って、順番が来たら、
プランを選んで、書類を記入して、結局2時間はかかったよ。本当に面倒だよね。
I see. I waitted in line for an hour last time.And when your turn finally comes, you have to pick out a plan and fill out alll of the paperwork. The whole process takes like two hors...It's a real pain in the neck.
もっと簡単にいうなら、"I don't want ~~"がよいですね。
I don't want to go to the shop because I need to wait for long time.
ほかにも”I'm too lazy to ~~"でも同じようなニュアンスが伝わるかなと
面倒くさいのニュアンスは色々とありますね。
